Meet Our Founders

Keisha and Nyema Bedell

Keisha and Nyema Bedell, married for a decade, are both Licensed Mental Health Therapists with a shared passion for helping couples navigate challenges and strengthen their relationships. Their journey began with a personal struggle to find quality couple therapists, particularly ones specializing in premarital and marriage counseling. Faced with waiting lists and unreturned calls during difficult times, they recognized a pressing need for accessible, exceptional counseling services. Drawing from their extensive experience in treating a range of issues including depression, anxiety, ADHD, and trauma, they founded Cultivate Counseling of Columbus to provide the support they once sought. With specialized training in co-occurring mental health and addiction disorders, grief, and trauma, they are dedicated to guiding individuals and couples toward healing and growth. Beyond their professional endeavors, Keisha enjoys family time and Netflix, while Nyema keeps a watchful eye on the stock market. Together, they strive to create a warm, supportive environment where clients can flourish.
